about

It was as fine a day as any, our main character thought, while reflecting on the many days since their impassioned group set off on their journey. But something was slightly askew. Perception had started to shift. The war cries and choruses that had propelled them all forward started to ring untrue. Signs and evidence appeared everywhere that seemed to illuminate the idea that they were--and had been--heading in the wrong direction. Never being one to prefer an uncomfortable conversation, our character expresses their differing views to the leader as non-confrontationally as possible; with a touch of sarcasm and a dash of passive aggression.

The music for this song was inspired by our favorite artists and music in Indie and Classic Rock. It started with a simple 3-chord refrain and blossomed into several parts and a couple different time signatures to create an upbeat tune that’s like a 7-layer dip of music. Mmm. It should come as no surprise, then, that the song was written at Nacho Room!
